With just five simple ingredients, this refreshing dessert blends the earthy notes of matcha with the sweetness of bananas for a deliciously wholesome snack!
Ingredients (organic/biodynamic)
- 3 ripe bananas, sliced and frozen
- 1 tsp. matcha powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2-3 Tbsp. almond milk
- Coconut flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Slice the bananas into rounds and freeze them for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- Place the frozen banana slices, matcha powder, and vanilla extract into a high-speed blender or food processor. Add 2 Tbsp. of almond milk to help with blending, and process until smooth and creamy. Add more milk if needed to reach a soft-serve consistency.
- Serve immediately as a soft-serve treat, or transfer to a container and freeze for 1-2 hours for a firmer texture.
- Garnish with extra matcha powder or coconut flakes, if desired, before serving!
