Watermelon Mojito Mocktail
Serves 2-3
Ingredients (organic/biodynamic):
- 2 c. watermelon, cubed and chilled
- 1 lime, juiced
- 10-12 fresh mint leaves
- 1 c. mineral rich sparkling water (g., San Pelligrino, Gerolsteiner)
- Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions:
- Place the watermelon cubes in a blender and blend until smooth. Strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl or pitcher to remove any pulp. Set the juice aside.
- Add the fresh mint leaves and lime juice to a glass or a cocktail shaker. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to muddle the mint leaves to gently release their flavor.
- Fill a glass with ice cubes. Pour the strained watermelon juice and the muddled mint and lime mixture over the ice.
- Top the glass with sparkling water or club soda. Stir gently to combine.
- Garnish with additional mint leaves and a small watermelon wedge if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri with Dates
Serves 2-3
Ingredients (organic/biodynamic):
- 1 c. fresh strawberries, hulled
- 1-2 Medjool dates, pitted (adjust based on desired sweetness)
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1 c. ice cubes
- 1/2 c. water (or mineral rich sparkling water for a lighter drink)
Instructions:
- If the dates are not soft, soak them in warm water for 10-15 minutes to soften them. This will make them easier to blend.
- Place the fresh strawberries in a blender. Add the pitted dates and freshly squeezed lime juice, and the ice cubes and water.
- Blend until smooth. If needed, stop and scrape down the sides of the blender to ensure everything is well blended.
- Taste the mixture. If you want more sweetness, add another date and blend again.
- Pour the strawberry daiquiri into glasses. Garnish with a fresh strawberry or a lime wedge if desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing, naturally sweetened strawberry daiquiri!
Orange Crush Mocktail
Serves 2-3
Ingredients (organic/biodynamic):
- 3 oranges, cut in half
- 1 lime, cut in half
- 1/2 c. mineral rich sparkling water (g., San Pelligrino, Gerolsteiner)
- Ice cubes (optional)
- Orange slices and mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Juice the oranges and the lime together. If you prefer a less pulpy drink, you can further strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve.
- Fill 2-3 glasses with ice and divide the juice mixture among them.
- Top with sparkling water or club soda. Stir gently to combine.
- Garnish with orange slices and mint leaves if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
