Salted Date Caramel Recipe

Serves 4-5

Indulge in the rich, naturally sweet flavor of our Salted Date Caramel, made with wholesome dates, creamy almond milk, and a touch of Celtic Sea Salt®. Perfect as a guilt-free topping or spread, this delightful caramel offers a healthier alternative to traditional sweets without compromising on taste.

Ingredients (organic/biodynamic)

  • 1 c. dates (pitted)
  • 1/4 c. almond milk
  • Pinch of Celtic Sea Salt®

Instructions:

  1. Soak the dates in warm water for about 10-15 minutes to soften them, then drain.
  2. Combine the soaked dates and almond milk in a food processor or high-speed blender. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  3. If the mixture is too thick, add a little more almond milk, one tablespoon at a time, until you reach your desired caramel consistency.
  4. Add a pinch of Celtic Sea Salt and blend again to combine.
  5. Transfer the date caramel to a jar or container. Store it in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
